City of Winnipeg Hydro 25 May 1986 - original ‘steam’ locomotive used by City of Winnipeg to build and service a hydro electric dam on the Winnipeg River http://www.trainweb.org/oldtimetrains/photos/shortline/Winnipeg_Hydro.htm- this was one of many examples of railway equipment brought to Vancouver’s Transportation EXPOsition 1986 - my childhood was in a north-west Ontario pulp mill town that was serviced by Canadian Pacific Railway’ steam locomotives until 1966.
