CF-PVN Cessna 180 Alert Bay Air Service at the CYAL/ Alert Bay,BC (Cormorant Island) Feb 1969 dock. Most of the town is on west side of island , facing Johnstone Strait and Port McNeill on Vancouver Island. CYAL was ABAS’ main base. For me as a Dispatcher/Pilot trainee it was usually a stop over enroute either north to CYSX or south to Kelsey Bay on
